5 Things I Love About Homeschooling

I've been reflecting on how our family life has changed in the short time we've been homeschooling. So far, the things I love most about homeschooling are not strictly "academic" and could really be done whether we were homeschooling or not. 5 Things I Love About Homeschooling (that aren't "academic") 1. Hymn studies My kids love to sing, and they are much more likely to remember something put to song than they are to remember a spoken message. The hymns we sing are full of powerful, biblical, theological messages They are beautiful and Gospel-centered: "Crown Him the Lord of life, Who triumphed over the grave, And rose victorious in the strife for those He came to save; His glories now we sing, Who died and rose on high, Who died eternal life to bring, and lives that death may die!"
