First Post
Let me just be completely honest here, writing a "first post" for a blog or diary always stresses me out. I feel like the first post sets the tone and feel of the blog. It should be epic. It should be thoughtful. It should be profound.
But most of all, it should clearly explain why I'm spending time each day putting information about my life out on the internet for anyone to read. What do I have to say that is is worth reading? What gives me the authority to speak into anyone else's life? What makes me think I have anything different or better to say than the billions of other people putting content online?
That's just too much pressure for me, so I postpone writing a first post for ages.
So, in an effort to avoid that pressure, let me just say now that I don't know if I have anything profound or different or worth the time of reading through this blog regularly, and I have decided not to worry about that.
